Thamar Monide Julmiste

Thamar works as a nurse educator at the Hòpital Universite de Mirebalais (HUM), which is a part of the work of Partners in Health and is on their main campus in Haiti. We are so blessed to have her as a part of our team as she is very ambitious and passionate about finding effective ways to spread nutrition education in a clinical setting.

Marie Sonia Fanfan

Sonia is a nurse educator for Bernard Mevs Hospital in Port-au-Prince, which is an important and influential health center for the country. She comes to us with years of experience, a learning spirit, and great confidence in teaching health professionals of all levels.

Bettyna Exantus

Bettyna works with Laman Outreach in a rural area north of Port-au-Prince. She humbly and tirelessly works to follow up with the elderly in their program, those with hypertension, and with her new nutrition education, also conducts nutrition classes for groups in their community.

Nadia Augustin

Nadia works in the mountains outside of Port-au-Prince in the Chances for Children clinic. She started to lead their nutrition education program for families who have children participating in their feeding program. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with those who need it most.

 

Marie Madelene Elvius

Madelene works as a nurse for Real Hope for Haiti (RHFH) in Cazale- about an hour north of Port-au-Prince. RHFH is an important and well-established in-patient cholera and malnutrition treatment center. Madelene is compassionate and a comforting presence wherever she goes. She is a nurturing educator and we look forward to seeing the good she brings to the patients of RHFH.


Aderla Derot

Aderla is a nurse for Pen Lavi (a malnutrition center) in Ganthier, Haiti. She has a beautiful energy and magnetic personality that makes her a natural educator. She has revitalized the education efforts at her center with new information application and effective education methods. She is eager to work with other organizations as well to share her knowledge.

 

Joel Eugene

Joel is a health educator for grassroots and church organizations. He leads health and nutrition education efforts in Carrefour, Haiti. He is bright, articulate, and an inspiring educator. He is also well-connected with the Adventist Hospital in Diquini and works with them to further community education efforts.

Biennaise Domond

Biennaise is a nurse for a maternal health clinic outside of Jacmel, Haiti. She is tireless in her efforts to further nutrition education in the greater Jacmel area and has been very effective so far in her work. She is a talented networker and very impressive in her integrated knowledge of health and nutrition.
